About Me
Originally from Ireland, I have lived in London and the UK for the last 25 years. Initially employed in the UK Civil Service, I later gained a BSc in Short-term Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the University of London and went on to work as a counsellor in the charity sector for a number of years. I also volunteered therapy services at Positive East in East London - check out their work www.positiveeast.org.uk - free counselling services maybe available to you if you live in the East London area.
I am a fully trained practitioner and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work under their code of ethics and good practice. I have also undertaken full ACTO training (Association for Counselling & Therapy Online) to ensure that I am providing a thoughtful and informed online service.
